Privacy
What we store about you
- If you request a scan: the channel you gave us, the address your account has us write to, the time, and the IP the request came from.
- If you create an account: your email address and a hash of your password. We cannot read your password.
- If you sign in with Google: your email address and the id that provider knows you by, so we recognise you next time. We ask them for nothing else — no name, no picture, nothing else about you — and we never post anything anywhere. They will know you signed in here; that is the trade, and an email and a password avoids it.
- If you take a fix list: which channel, and when.
No advertising trackers, no third-party cookies, no profile of you anywhere.
Analytics
We use a cookieless analytics tool that records page views and nothing that identifies a person. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What we email you
Only what you asked for: the result of a scan you requested, and a link to a fix list you took. There is no mailing list.
What we store about channels
Public YouTube data — video descriptions, pinned comments, view counts — and the results of checking the links in them. This is how a report exists for a channel that never contacted us. If it is your channel and you would rather it did not, take it down in one click; that also stops it being republished.
Deleting your account
Write to us and we delete the account, its email address and its purchase records. Ask us to and we'll confirm when it's done.
